In 2023, Robin Imthorn was awarded the Legion of Honor Award for his significant contributions to mental health and veterans through his work with the Five Five Out Foundation. Imthorn, a sergeant in the Marine Corps, founded Five Five Out to support colleagues struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). His foundation and dedication have been recognized for providing substantial support and camaraderie among veterans dealing with mental health challenges. Imthorn is also noted for his speed marches, which have garnered attention alongside his advocacy and support work
